Abstract

The way in which experimental obsetvables such as the partial charge and binding energy are related to the Hamiltonian via Green’s functions is demonstrated (a) The superoperator approach and (b) an imrer projection are employed to define respectively (i) the space stipulating the nature of the correlations (excitations) included in analysis and (ii) the Green’s functions appropriate to the subsystems of interest. The resulting analysis accounts for the many-body effects in a hierarchical manner.
