Abstract
In this report we present the design and fabrication details of a phasesensitive radio-frequency superheterodyne ultrasonic spectrometer. We also present results of measurements to test the operation of the Spectrometer. The spectrometer allows simultaneous measurements of both velocity and attenuation over a wide frequency range with little adjustment. It has been built mainly using commonly available RF circuit components.
