Abstract

The structure of a triclinic form of cyclolinopeptide A (I) dihydrate detd. by x-ray diffraction is reported. Bond distances, bond angles, and conformational angles are given. The conformation of I dihydrate is analogous to that reported earlier for I monohydrate with the Pro1-Pro2 bond as cis and all others trans. The conformation of I in the region of the 2 proline residues is similar to that of antamanide
