Abstract
We describe a Petri net based simulator, developed for the composite performance-reliability analysis of manufacturing systems. We also study the simulation based on time scale decomposition and demonstrate the speed-up. The effectiveness of the simulator is established by simulating systems with non-exponential failure and repair rates.
