Abstract
Lead-based relaxor ferroelectric such as $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3 (PMN), Pb(Zn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3 (PZN)$, and their solid solutions with $BaTiO_3$ and $PbTiO_3$ have been prepared by a solution combustion process which involves metal nitrates/oxalate and tetraformal trisazine (TFTA) at 350 °C. Thermal evolution of perovskite relaxors has been investigated at different temperatures of calcination using the powder x-ray diffraction method. Particles are fine and sinter-active at low temperature (1050 °C). Both particulate and dielectric properties are compared.
