Describes the architecture of a parallel computera3 called multidimensional multilink system (MMS) which was designed and developed at the Indian Institute of Science. This system is a general-purpose multicomputer where each computing element comprises a processor and its local memory. The computing elements communicate using message passing. There is no shared memory in the system
