Abstract

An analysis of the target range observability of a polynomial guidance law is presented for interception of target which uses a dual-seeker interceptor. Field-of-View as well as detection range constraints of the seekers have been considered. The paper presents an observability metric used to enhance the observability based on the maximization of the Fisher Information Matrix. Simulation results show the variation in the metric validating the enhancement in the observability. (C) 2018, IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control) Hosting by Elsevier Ltd.
