Abstract

The whitefly tribe Aleurolobini from India is reviewed. Five new species viz., Africateurodes ananthakrishnani sp. nov. (Kerala: Wynad), A. karwarensis sp. nov. (Karnataka: Karwar), Aleurolobus dalbergiae sp. nov. (Karnataka: Bangalore), A. longisetosus sp. nov. (Karnataka: Bangalore) and Sphericaleyrodes regui sp. nov. (Kerala: Calicut) are described and illustrated. Keys to genera of the tribe and species therein are provided.
