Abstract
In the title compound, C12H12O5, molecules are linked into antiparallel hydrogen-bonded sheets through inversion dimers generated via two O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds. Using the R-2(2)(8) motif as a building block, hydrogen-bonded chains of a C-2(2)(8) superstructure are then generated.
