Abstract

Thermodynamics and Phase Equilibria in the Zn-Sn, Zn-In and Zn-Ga systems have been analysed using various two parameter functions. The Lumsden and exponential equations satisfactorily interpret the thermodynamic properties and phase equilibria of the Zn-In and Zn-Ga systems; while the Krupkowski's equation is found to be in rough agreement with data of the Zn-Sn system.
