Abstract

The decrease in resistivity of the polymer (PVC)-graphite thick film resistors with the application of high voltage (or high current) is attributed to dielectrophoretic motion of the graphite particles in PVC medium. A simple analysis of this phenomenon indicates that the cube of the conductance varies linearly with time.
