Abstract

The present work highlights the leakage current (LC) analysis performed using recurrence plot (RP) method. The Rotating wheel and dip test facility is used for the experimentation, the leakage current is measured by tapping the voltage across the non-inductive resistance connected to ground side. The captured leakage current is recorded using data acquisition system and analyzed, the pattern shows interesting temporal variation. RP method a signal processing technique converting the electrical signals into a 2D representation and visual patterns are obtained in the present work. Some of the interesting observations are made from the visual representation of LC with quantification parameters and are reported. © 2020 IEEE.
