Abstract

This paper addresses the problem of mimicking short range air-to-surface ballistic trajectories using a feedback guidance law. An adaptive proportional navigation law is proposed satisfying the launch and impact position, and heading direction of the ballistic trajectory. Simulations are carried out for mimicking ideal and quadratic drag ballistic trajectories. Mimicking error studies present the efficacy of the proposed guidance method. Robustness of the proposed guidance method is verified against wind disturbances. (C) 2018, IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control) Hosting by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
