Abstract

We demonstrate an all optical four channel multicasting using Silicon photonic coupled cavity. An aggregate data rate of 7.2Gbps is transmitted. The proposed cavity system breaks the inherent free spectral range and cavity length product relationship. Multicasting is achieved using free carrier dispersion in Silicon induced by a modulated pump which is mapped to four optical channels.
