Abstract

H2O was adsorbed from MeCOEt-H2O (11.89) azeotrope on Dryal (anhyd. CaSO4) at 1 atm, 75-100 Deg, flow rate 0.5-3.0 cm3/min, and bed height 5-20 cm. The optimum conditions for obtaining the max. enrichment of MeCOEt was 1.0 cm3/min and 80 Deg for a bed height of 20 cm. The optimum bed height was 15-25 cm, and the optimum particle size was 2-4.5 mm.
