Abstract

Recently, Hiraki and Kanoda (HK) [1] observed charge ordering of a Wigner crystal type in a quarter-filled quasi- 1D organic charge transfer solid (CTS): sDI-DCNQId2Ag HK took 13C-NMR spectra from 3 to 280.9 K. Below 208 K, the single NMR line observed at higher temperatures splits into two lines with nearly equal intensities, indicating DI-DCNQI molecules with different electron occupancies.
