Abstract

The structural features including some new results on the accommodation of O non-stoichiometry are reviewed briefly, and the elec. transport and magnetic properties reviewed with respect to properties of $La_2BO_4+d(B = Co, Ni, Cu)$ and other $Ln_2CuO_4$ (Ln is n lanthanide) compds. comparison of the properties of $LaSrBO_4$ compds. with that of the corresponding $LaBO_3$ compds., and the influence of percolation effects.
