Abstract

The formalism developed in Part I, when approximated, leads to certain operator averages to be evaluated. Simple schemes for obtaining such averages - the mean field correlation approach (MFCA) and the correlation approach (CA) - are outlined. As a zeroth approximation, the Hartree-Fock/mean field case is deduced and compared with the results of Schmickler et al. Some relevant results of the many-body theory are recalled in the Appendix.
