Abstract

Structure and optical properties of $TiO_2$ films are very sensitive to deposition parameters. A detailed investigation has been made on the influence of substrate temperature and post-deposition heat treatment in air on the optical properties of $TiO_2$ films deposited by electron beam evaporation of TiO in neutral oxygen atmosphere. The influence of film thickness on optical absorption of $TiO_2$ films is also studied.
