Abstract

This paper describes the simulation of step motor dynamic behaviour using graphic module based simulation software. The model of the step motor is first established and tested for single step response. On this basis, the model of the same motor operating in self-synchronization mode is established and its dynamic performances in various conditions are simulated, taking advantage of the great simplicity and flexibility of this simulation tool.
